GT is committed to ensuring that the GT supply chain has safe working conditions, employees are treated with respect and dignity, and the manufacturing process is responsible for the environment
The GT supplier promises to strictly abide by the laws, regulations and rules of the country or region in all business activities. In addition, GT suppliers will comply with the GT supplier code of conduct (& ldquo; this specification & rdquo;) through the management system described herein
GT supplier code of conduct is based on GT code of conduct. In some places, the GT supplier code of conduct is more specific than the GT code of conduct because it adds other GT standards to clarify requirements and integrates the possibility of evaluating whether suppliers comply with this specification
GT supplier code of conduct draws on internationally recognized standards to promote the performance of social and environmental responsibilities. GT may visit (and / or arrange for external inspectors to visit) the supplier's facilities to assess compliance with the specifications. Any violation may lead to the immediate termination of the partnership by GT. In addition, any violation may lead to legal action

The GT supplier code of conduct is not intended to create new and additional rights for third parties, including employees
Suppliers are committed to safeguarding the human rights of employees and treat employees with respect and dignity in accordance with the understanding of the international community. This applies to all employees, including temporary, immigration, students, contracts, direct employees and any other types of employees
Forced labour, bonded labour (including debt bondage), indentured labour, involuntary prison labour, slave labour or traffickers shall not be employed. This includes transporting, harbouring, recruiting, transferring or receiving people for labor or services through threats, coercion, coercion, kidnapping or fraud. In addition to unreasonable restrictions on the import and export facilities provided by the company, unreasonable restrictions shall not be set on the freedom of activities of employees in the facilities. In the employment process, the employee must be provided with a written employment agreement in a language understandable to the employee before leaving the country of origin, specifying the terms and conditions of employment. All work must be voluntary and employees shall be free to leave or terminate employment at any time. Suppliers and agency structures must not retain or destroy, hide, confiscate or deny employees access to identity or immigration documents, such as government issued identity certificates, passports or work permits, unless such information is required by law. The supplier shall be responsible for paying all fees and expenses. Such costs and expenses include but are not limited to those related to the recruitment, handling or placement of direct employees and contract employees. The supplier shall strive to build a workforce free of harassment and illegal discrimination. Suppliers recognize that in addition to minimizing industrial accidents and diseases, a safe and healthy working environment can improve the quality of products and services, production consistency, employee retention and morale. Suppliers also recognize that continuous employee input and education are essential to identify and address health and safety issues in the workplace
Potential safety hazards faced by employees (such as electrical and other energy, fire, vehicle and fall hazards) shall be controlled through reasonable design, engineering and management control, preventive maintenance, safe work procedures (including tag out and lock out) and continuous safety training. If these means cannot fully control the hidden dangers, employees shall be provided with appropriate personal protective equipment in good maintenance and risk training materials related to such hidden dangers. No disciplinary action shall be taken for employees' safety concerns. Before the management fully solves employees' concerns, employees have the right to refuse unsafe working conditions without fear of retaliation
Potential emergencies and incidents should be identified and assessed and their impact minimized through the implementation of emergency plans and response procedures, including emergency reporting, employee notification and evacuation procedures, employee training and drills, appropriate fire source detection and fire fighting equipment, and adequate exit facilities and reconstruction plans. The supplier shall identify, assess and control the hazardous chemical, biological and physical risks faced by employees. The supplier must eliminate chemical hazards when possible. If appropriate engineering control measures are not feasible, the supplier shall establish appropriate management control measures, such as safe work procedures. The risks of physical work hazards faced by employees, including manual handling of materials, heavy or repeated lifting, standing for a long time and highly repeated or laborious assembly work, shall be identified, evaluated and controlled
Potential safety hazards of production machinery and other machinery shall be evaluated. If machinery poses a threat to the safety of employees, physical protective devices, interlocks and barriers shall be provided and properly maintained
Clean toilet facilities, drinking water, clean food preparation, storage and dining facilities shall be provided to employees. The supplier or labor agent shall provide staff dormitories, keep them clean and safe, and provide appropriate emergency exits, bath and shower hot water, adequate heating and ventilation facilities, reasonable personal space and reasonable access privileges
In order to promote a safe working environment, the supplier shall provide employees with appropriate workplace health and safety information and training, including clearly formulating health and safety information and warnings in the main language used by employees. The supplier shall publish the material safety data sheet of any hazardous or toxic substances used in the workplace in the main language of employees, and shall provide appropriate training for employees who will be exposed to such substances in the workplace

Suppliers recognize that environmental responsibility is essential to the production of world-class products. In manufacturing activities, the adverse impact on communities, environment and natural resources should be minimized while ensuring public health and safety
All necessary environmental permits (e.g. emission monitoring), approvals and registrations shall be obtained, maintained and kept timely, and their operational and reporting requirements shall be followed
Reduce the use of resources (including water and energy) and reduce or eliminate the generation of various types of waste from the source or by changing the production, maintenance and facility processes, material substitution, resource protection, recycling and material reuse practices
Chemicals and other materials that may cause hidden dangers when discharged into the environment shall be identified and managed to ensure the safe operation of handling, moving, storage, use, recycling, reuse and treatment
The supplier shall adopt a systematic method to identify, manage, reduce and responsibly treat or recycle (harmless) solid waste. Before being discharged or treated, the wastewater generated by operation, industrial process and sanitary facilities shall be described, detected, controlled and treated in accordance with the regulations. In addition, measures should be taken to reduce the generation of wastewater. The supplier shall regularly monitor the performance of its wastewater treatment system
Before emission, volatile organic chemicals, aerosols, corrosive agents, particles, ozone depleting chemicals and combustion by-products shall be described, monitored, controlled and treated regularly according to regulations. The supplier shall regularly monitor the performance of its exhaust emission control system
The supplier shall comply with any applicable laws and regulations that prohibit or restrict the use or disposal of specific substances in the production and manufacturing activities of the products, including recycling and disposal labels. In order to ensure safe handling, movement, storage, recycling, reuse and treatment, the supplier shall identify and manage the substances that will bring hidden dangers to the environment after discharge, and shall comply with the applicable laws and regulations of recycling labels
In addition, suppliers involved in the manufacture of materials to be added to GT final products and suppliers involved in the manufacture of GT brand products shall comply with the requirements of GT's latest version of product and packaging hazardous substances list (xpr-0007). If requested by GT, the supplier shall provide GT with complete material composition information using GT material declaration form (xte-0008) and / or material safety data sheet
GT requires material suppliers related to products to provide certificates of compliance with the EU Directive on restrictions on the use of hazardous substances in electronic and electrical equipment (RoHS), at least once a year. The certificate shall be submitted in the form of test report. These tests shall be carried out by a third party laboratory certified by ISO / IEC 17025 in accordance with IEC 62321. For the selected material group, additional proof, such as halogen content, may be required to show that it meets the dark green requirements of GT or the requirements of the EU packaging and Packaging Waste Directive
The supplier shall adopt a systematic method to prevent pollution of storm runoff. The supplier shall prevent illegal discharges and spills from entering the storm drain
Energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions should be tracked and recorded at the plant and / or enterprise level. Suppliers need to find cost-effective ways to improve energy efficiency and minimize energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions
Suppliers involved in the manufacture of materials to be added to GT final products and suppliers involved in the manufacture of GT brand products shall be ISO 14001 certified (or equivalent), or shall have a certification plan. In addition, the supplier must provide objective written evidence of the applicable environmental management system and prove its equivalence
When dealing with employees, suppliers and customers, suppliers must be committed to the implementation of the highest standards of ethical behavior
GT adheres to the highest standard of integrity in all business dealings. The supplier shall establish a zero tolerance policy to prohibit any and all forms of bribery, corruption, extortion and embezzlement (including promise, offer, offer or accept any bribe). All business transactions shall be transparent and accurately reflected in the supplier's enterprise books and records. Suppliers must establish policies to reasonably ensure that tantalum, tin, tungsten and gold (3tg minerals) used in their products do not directly or indirectly finance or benefit armed groups that commit serious human rights violations in the Democratic Republic of the Congo or neighbouring countries. The supplier shall conduct due diligence on the source and chain of custody of these minerals and explain its due diligence measures to GT when required by GT
Suppliers are committed to protecting the reasonable privacy expectations of all people who do business with them, including suppliers, customers, consumers and employees. When collecting, storing, processing, transmitting and sharing personal information, the supplier shall comply with privacy and information security laws and regulatory requirements
The supplier shall establish programs to protect the confidentiality of suppliers and employee whistleblowers, and shall prohibit retaliation against employees who participate in such programs in good faith or refuse orders that violate the GT supplier code of conduct. The supplier shall provide an anonymous complaint mechanism for employees to report their dissatisfaction with the workplace in accordance with local laws and regulations. The supplier shall have a training program for managers and employees to implement the supplier's policies, procedures and improvement objectives, and meet applicable legal and regulatory requirements
Suppliers shall implement corresponding processes to convey clear and accurate information about supplier policies, practices, expectations and performance to employees, suppliers and customers
The supplier shall have a continuous process to evaluate employees' understanding of the practices and conditions contained in this specification, obtain feedback from employees, and promote continuous improvement
The supplier shall conduct regular self-assessment to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to social and environmental responsibility, the content of specifications and customer contract requirements
The supplier shall have the ability to correct defects found in internal or external evaluation, inspection, investigation and review in a timely manner
